Profile

Dr Ghani is on leave from LUMS, where he is Professor and Former-Dean of the Suleman Dawood School. He has held faculty positions at the Sloan School of Management, MIT (USA), King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (Saudi Arabia), and Western Michigan University (USA).
He was a founding Director of Gallup Research Institute (Pakistan), and the founding Chairman of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB). He has served on the board of governors of several organizations including Haleeb Foods, International Islamic University, Foundation University, Punjab Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), and Technical Up-Gradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC).
Dr Ghani has served as a consultant to multinational and local companies in Pakistan as well as to international and various government agencies. He was awarded Export Development Fund Chair at LUMS in 1994. He has published extensively in several areas including the psychology of human-computer interaction, economic tariff policy, and strategy.
