The vision of Government of the Punjab is to make Punjab
the hub of information technology and
Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB)
be the leading IT organization in promoting economic growth in IT and IT enabled
services sector. Government of the Punjab wants PITB to be the driving force in creating
Software Technology Parks and in implementing e-Governance and e-Government policies
and projects throughout Punjab. PITB will be the thought leader, IT incubator, IT
trend setter, and a role model for rest of the provinces in Pakistan.
