Computerization of Labour department, Labour Directorate & PESSI

Project Status

The main activities of this project will be:


Establishing an intranet connecting Labour Department, Directorate and PESSI Head Office with the Regional Offices.

Developing a centralized database at PESSIS Head Office to get the information updated about the activities carried out in the Regional Offices on daily basis for decision-making purposes.

Developing and deploying an application to automate the whole organization and affect and improve each and every department. To achieve this purpose, following modules will be got developed.

 
 



 

This proposed customized software is divided into following modules:

Employee’s Card Management System.

Online employee card verification system( integrated with VeriSys. As agreed between Punjab Govt and NADRA.)

An Integrated Financial Accounting System.

Inventory Control System for medicines.

Complete Payroll System.

Dynamic Web Site for Online Management Reports of Regions/Sectors/industrial Units, showing their monthly contribution information and number of employees. Organization introduction and information about various schemes will also be published on the website.

 

Employee’s Card Management System

This module will allow the staff to register and generate Employee cards. These cards will be presented by the employee on demanding any service. All the record will also be maintained for each employee.

 

Online employee card verification system

When ever an employee will present the card on any hospital, the reception clerk will check the card from the online system of PESSI to verify if the employee exists or not banned or the card is not fake.

 

Web Site

This site will present the organization on the cyber world. It covers all the information’s about the structure and activities of the organization. The main features of this module are:

Dynamic Web Site for Online Management Reports of Regions/Sectors/industrial Units, showing their monthly contribution information and number of employees.

Comparisons of monthly contributions from various industries

Organization Intro and its Offices / Department / Locations.

Employees

Different Welfare Schemes information and list of hospitals and dispensaries etc.

Industrial and labour policies.

 

Accounts

This module will handle the financial aspects of the organization including chart of accounts, general ledger, vouchers and financial reports.

 

Payroll

This module will maintain the profile of employees with their history and generate payroll as and when required. The main features includes employees records, designations, salaries, leaves and allowances etc.

 

Inventory Control System Integrated with Financial Accounting System

This module consists of Issuance, Purchase and Inventory of medicines, integrated with Financial Accounting System. The main features of this module will be:

Purchases of Medicine Items.

Issuance and Issuance Return

Stock Reports.
