TORs for Integration of Criminal Justice System Signed at LHC

A meeting was held at the Lahore High Court in which the Terms of References (TORs) for the integration of Criminal Justice System were officially approved and signed by the concerned stakeholders as per the directions of National Judicial Policy Making Committee (NJPMC).

PITB representatives Director Project Management Jamal Ahmad and SPM Qasim Tufail as well as LHC Additional Registrar (Monitoring) Atiq-ur-Rehman, LHC Additional Registrar (PE&CB) Nadeem Anwar Chaudhry, Punjab Prisons AIG Dr. Qadeer Alam, District Public Prosecutor Muhammad Altaf Ishaq, AIG Monitoring & Crime Analysis Malik Tariq Mahboob PSP, Civil Judge 1st Class Lahore Danish Mukhtar, DSP Investigation Branch Punjab Nasir Abbas, Assistant District Public Prosecutor Abdul Qudos and Superintendent Jail Imtiaz Abbas were present.

The TORs for Integration of Criminal Justice System aims to incorporate Judiciary's Case Management System (CMS) with the Prosecution Case Flow Management System (CFMS), the Prison Management Information System (PMIS), and the Police Station Record Management System (PSRMS). It will also pave the way for a seamless, interconnected framework that would enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the justice system.
