Prime Minister Imran Khan (official) inaugurated the Police Khidmat Markaz Global today. The portal designed, developed and implemented by PITB in collaboration with Punjab Police facilitates the expats in securing police related documents. Under this initiative, 6 services i.e. National Status Verification, Character Certificate, Copy of FIR, Tenant Registration, Crime Report and Employee Verification will be provided to 8.8 million expats at the Pakistan embassies in their respective host countries. The portal will not only allow application tracking but will ensure guaranteed turnaround time. PM was accompanied by Governor Punjab, Mohammad Sarwar, CM Punjab Usman Buzdar, Special Assistant to PM for Overseas Pakistanis & HRD, Sayed Zulfikar Bukhari and Minister Finance, Hashim Jawan Bakht. Chairman PITB, Azfar Manzoor, and Punjab Police leadership were also present at the occasion.
