A meeting was held at PITB with the Monitoring Officers and Deputy Directors from Directorate of Public Instructions (Colleges) for the provision of orientation and training on Automation of College Monitoring Mechanisms. A detailed overview was given to the attendees by Joint Director Mahmood Hanif and Programme Manager Ameema Mahroof.
According to this initiative, the Monitoring Officers will be able to capture college data and can geo-tag/time-stamp it. This data will be available in real-time assisting key administrators of Higher Education Department to make timely decisions. The pilot launch of this project is scheduled for next week.
