Chief Minister Punjab inaugurated the Price Monitoring Management Information System developed by PITB in collaboration with Industries Department. The CM was given a detailed briefing about the significant features of the system. The initiative aims at improving public service delivery while ensuring real-time monitoring of District Administration’s performance. The system is designed to monitor food commodities’ prices as notified in Qeemat Punjab App, performance of Assistant Commissioners (ACs) and Special Price Magistrates in addition to citizen complaints management.
The system also allows listing of corrective actions taken by Special Price Magistrates, uploading of pictorial/video-based inspections by officials and reporting of Wheat and Urea stock details in Punjab markets.
