PITB conducted an interactive awareness session for the Executive Members of The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) covering ICT initiatives implemented by PITB as part of the drive to improve 'Ease of Doing Business' and facilitate Business Community.
The session was presided by PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif along with Senior Chief PSD/Industries Planning & Development (P&D) Board Salman Iftikhar Shami and President SCCI Imran Akbar.
During the session the Executive Members applauded the hard work behind the automation of multiple business-centric services including Business Registration Portal, Monthly Contribution Portal and relevant services at e-Khidmat Marakaz.
A Facilitation Desk at SCCI was also inaugurated by the DG e-Governance Sajid Latif. The Desk will serve to help the business community in Sialkot for securing both information and multiple compliances.
The team also visited the industrial units in Sialkot to discuss the measures by the government that can facilitate the export sector in Sialkot.
