Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director Ghufran Ahmed chaired a meeting with PITB representatives from IT Operations team at WASA Head Office, Lahore. Gensets Monitoring and Tubewell Operators Monitoring Solutions were discussed during the meeting. WASA MD expressed keen interest in the PITB-proposed solutions and their implementation plan.
The meeting was attended by WASA Director Saleem Ashraf and PITB IT-Ops Joint Director Malik Usman Waheed along with his team. Gensets Monitoring Solution aims at keeping a watch on fuel level in generators, their power on/off timings through sensors and eradication of fuel theft. Meanwhile, Tubewell Operators Monitoring Solution is a completely new system for surveillance of tubewell operators and their functional status by installation of CCTV cameras with facial recognition.
