PITB Chairman Ali Sarfraz Hussain chaired a meeting with a delegation from federal project 'Data and Research in Education (DARE)' at Arfa Software Technology Park. DARE team presented an overview of the project highlighting the planning and implementation of the national education database, Education Management Information System (EMIS).
The visiting delegation also discussed key areas of collaboration with the PITB initiative Online Statistical System of Punjab (OSSP) and the way forward for the successful implementation of the database at the national level.
PITB Chairman Ali Sarfraz Hussain commended the DARE initiative as it will improve Pakistan’s education data infrastructure and enhance coordination in the sector between the country’s federal and provincial governments.
