‘Taleem aur Hunar Sath Sath’ Orientation Drive Held at GCU Lahore

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan was the Chief Guest at the ‘Taleem Aur Hunar Sath Sath’ Orientation Drive held at Government College University (GCU) Lahore today to emphasize the importance of both academic degrees and skills for wholesome success.
An initiative of the Government of Punjab, the purpose of the drive is to empower the youth and build awareness about making efforts to foster both skills and education. The event was held as a joint collaboration between PITB and GCU Lahore.
Former Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood, Provincial Minister Higher Education Department Punjab Raja Yassir Humayun Sarfraz, Punjab Minister Information Technology Dr. Arslan Khalid, Former Federal Minister Energy Hammad Azhar, Senior Provincial Minister for Housing Mian Aslam Iqbal and Former Provincial Minister Finance Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bakht were among the distinguished guests.
The other guests of honour included VC GCU Lahore Professor Dr. Asghar Zaidi, Chairman P@SHA Badar Khushnood, PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif and VC Information Technology University Dr. Sarfraz Khurshid. The keynote speakers were GFXMentor Imran Ali Dina and CEO and Co-Founder Enablers Saqib Azhar.
Thousand of students turned out to attend the ‘Taleem Aur Hunar Sath Sath’ Orientation Drive at the historic and beautiful GCU Lahore. The drive commenced on 19th September and will continue across Punjab till 19th October 2022.
