PITB Team Attends Meeting on e-Subsidy Program at Agriculture Department

PITB team visited Agriculture Department to attend a meeting on Agricultural e-Subsidy Program. The meeting was chaired by Additional Secretary Agriculture (Taskforce) Muhammad Shabbir Ahmad Khan. PITB IT-Ops Joint Director Usman Waheed along with his team briefed the participants regarding the PITB developed subsidy mechanisms including Farmer Registration Portal, validation implemented on voucher verification and payment through Branchless Banking Operators (BBOs). The chair appreciated the efforts of PITB in digitizing the Agriculture Department and showed keen interest in future collaboration in this regard.
