PITB team held a meeting with Punjab Food Secretary Zaman Wattoo to discuss the ongoing project of “Digitization of Inventory Control and ERP of Food Directorate” for Food Department. PITB Joint Director Usman Waheed presented a comprehensive overview on the IT interventions executed by PITB for the digitization of the Food Department. He also gave a presentation on the Wheat Procurement Season 2023-2024.
Punjab Food Secretary appreciated PITB's efforts and emphasized on developing a Sugar Supply Chain Management System for the cane commissioner's office to digitize the whole activity. Additional Secretary (Technical) Khalid Mahmood Tipu and other officials were also present on the occasion.
