A delegation from National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) comprising NBP Head Officer Karachi SEVP/Chief Digital Banking Group Muhammad Hamayun Sajjad and SVP/CRM Head Digital Banking Farhan J. Durrani visited PITB to discuss possible areas of collaborations.
PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif briefed them on the various ICT interventions rolled out by PITB especially in the areas of e-Governance and Automation, Supporting Businesses, Knowledge Economy and Citizen Centric Services. Additionally, Director e-Governance Ali Zeb briefed them on the Omni Channel of PITB’s Citizen Contact Center (CCC).
NBP delegation showed keen interest in acquiring CCC services and also discussed the potential prospects of working in the areas of digital banking, technical training of NBP staff, Merchants & Beneficiaries profiling, payment integrations through PITB executed e-Pay Punjab and payment collections at the facilitation centres. An MoU is expected to be signed in this regard shortly.
