Helpline 1233 Covering 121 Cattle Markets Launched for Traders/Public Convenience

Cattle Market Management and Development Company’s helpline 1233 has been launched for the convenience of citizens and traders across Punjab. The helpline will address citizens' queries and complaints regarding the 121 cattle markets across Punjab, their timings and facilities being provided in these markets. Punjab Local Government Minister Ibrahim Murad inaugurated the helpline in a ceremony held at Arfa Software Technology Park (ASTP).

Punjab Municipal Secretary Irshad Ahmed, Punjab Cattle Market Management & Development Company Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdul Latif, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf, Director General e-Governance Sajid Latif and Director Ali Zeb were also present on the occasion.

The helpline has been commissioned by Punjab Information Technology Board's (PITB) Citizen Contact Center (CCC) in collaboration with the Cattle Market Management and Development Company. Complaints like non-availability of company staff, non-cooperation, non-issuance of corridor slips, overcharging of entry fee for animals, sale of items at expensive rates, overcharging of parking fee etc can be filed through the helpline.
