DG Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal (SW&BM) Mudassir Riaz Malik chaired a meeting with the stakeholders to review PITB developed ‘Enabled’ feature as part of ‘Services for Deprived Persons (SDP) system.'
SDP is an online portal for the provision of Assistive Devices to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) consisting of ‘Enabled’ as a key feature that connects the deserving PWDs with the donors while ensuring an easy and a transparent process.
PITB ADG Muhammad Kashif Farooq gave a detailed brief of the feature that allows vendors and contributors/donors to register and support the cause. Additionally, the deserving candidates will also be able to apply for the desired equipment through this feature.
Senior officials from Provincial Council for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PCRDP) and TCS as well as vendors were also present. DG SW&BM appreciated the stakeholders for their efforts and discussed the way forward.
