An orientation session was arranged at the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department (SHC&ME) department for rolling out PITB’s Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) in the fifteen Tertiary Care Hospitals of Punjab.
The meeting was chaired by Additional Secretary Procurement Tariq Ali Basra. PTIB Director Nausheen Fayyaz and Project Director Asad Zulwqarnain briefed them on PITB implemented initiatives for the health department. They also gave a detailed overview of HMIS and the benefits of having a single integrated management system for the healthcare across Punjab.
Senior management of various institutions and Professors/Doctors of specialized hospitals were present in the meeting. The session concluded with a Q&A activity.
