Google Career Certificates 2.0 in Pakistan was launched yesterday by Tech Valley Pakistan and in collaboration with PITB and other stakeholders. Federal Minister IT & Telecommunication Syed Aminul Haque graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Senior officials including PITB’s DG e-Governance Sajid Latif and JD Freelancing Wing Ahmad Islam Syan were also present representing the respective stakeholders.
The Google Career Certificates program, available on Coursera, is a revolutionary online education initiative designed by Google experts. The launch also introduced three highly demanded courses, namely: Business Intelligence, Advanced Data Analytics, and Cybersecurity by Google Asia Pacific team in Pakistan.
The initiative aims at offering scholarships to potential candidates regardless of prior experience or education. The overall purpose is to empower the youth with global digital skills, enabling them to strengthen Pakistan’s digital economy.
