PITB organized a training session on Digital Warden App for the Punjab Highway Police (PHP) officers of the Gujranwala region. The training aimed at acquainting the attendees with the PITB-developed Digital Warden App.
Senior officials from the Police department including DIG Punjab Highwat Patrol Dr. Muhammad Athar Waheed and SSP Imran Karamat Bukhari were also present.
PITB representatives from the IT-Operations wing, including ADG Syed Qasim Afzal, Senior Program Manager Rai Rashid, Senior Software Engineer Mamoon Sharif and Program officer Zeeshan Mudasir, gave a detailed briefing on the application while emphasizing on its benefits and functionality to improve road safety. The attendees will now be training the other officers of their region.
An initiative of PITB, the Digital Warden App is a move towards a corruption-free and paperless work environment. It is already successfully operational across Punjab.
