Secretary Archives and Libraries has constituted an Advisory Committee on policy matters and for resolving different issues of the department. Regarding this, the first Advisory Committee Meeting was chaired by DG Libraries Abdul Ghafoor to discuss the progress of the department.
PITB ADG Muhammad Kashif Farooq along with team members Program Managers Aqsa Ghazi and Kamran Yousaf gave a detailed briefing on PITB developed e-Libraries App and discussed the overall implementation plan to roll out the initiative across Punjab.
The Advisory Committee includes members from PITB, The Punjab University, LUMS and prominent public libraries of Punjab.
