PITB organized a training session on Digital Warden App for the Punjab Highway Police (PHP) officers of the Rawalpindi region. The training aimed at acquainting the attendees with PITB developed Digital Warden App. Senior officials from the police department including DSP Rawalpindi Region Syed Zulfiqar Ali Gillani were present.
PITB Senior Program Manager Rai Rashid along with Senior Software Engineer Mamoon Sharif gave a detailed briefing on the application while emphasizing on its benefits and functionality to improve road safety. The attendees will now be training the other officers of their region.
An initiative of PITB, Digital Warden App is a move towards a corruption-free and paperless work environment. It is already successfully operational across Punjab.
