PITB and Communication & Work (C&W) Department held a meeting regarding the allocation of resources for the Road Asset Management System (RAMS), including its modules 'Pave Management System' (PMS) and 'Bridge Management System' (BMS).
The Road Asset Management System is a joint initiative of C&W and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The system aims at efficiently managing and maintaining the road infrastructure assets within the Punjab region.
PITB representatives from the IT Operations wing including SPM Rai Rashid, SSE Mamoon Sharif and PO Syed Muhammad Ali attended the meeting. C&W Director Waleed Zafar along with JICA Global Project Manager, Project Management & Engineering Department representative were also present.
