Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) held the graduation ceremony of the first batch of e-Rozgaar Center at LCWU under the self-sustainable model. Federal Minister for Education & Professional Training Rana Tanveer Hussain graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. PITB Director General (DG) e-Governance Sajid Latif, Vice Chancellor LCWU Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza and Director Youth Affairs Punjab Umair Hassan Shah were among the distinguished guests.
PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif shared the success of LCWU center with the audience and quoted that the graduates from this center alone have earned more than $728,000 in the past 5 years. He also recommended the addition of freelancing module to the curriculum of Higher Education degrees.
Federal Minister for Education & Professional Training Rana Tanveer Hussain lauded PITB for implementing youth centric initiatives that are helping foster digital skills among the youth, especially among the female freelancers, and for enabling them to support the national economy through their contribution.
