Saflain Haider, a graduate from Kingston University, holds an extensive experience of managerial roles at leading enterprises of Pakistan and United Kingdom. Haider, an innovator and out of the box thinker, maintains a track record of successful projects throughout his career. He has been leading the E-Government Applications team at Punjab IT Board with his profound strategic planning, corporate branding, project management and business analytical skills since April 2010.
Saflain Haider has led various IT based initiatives for Health Department, Government of Punjab including deployment of Hospital Information Management System in DHQs and THQs, Automation of Drug Testing Labs, Telemedicine initiatives, EMR for Hepatitis and TB, Online Bidding Platform for Local Purchase of Medicine and flagship projects of Dengue Surveillance and Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (IDSR). Haider holds advisory positions as member of Roster Consultants for UNICEF and WHO as Deployment Specialist and Digital Health Expert.
Apart from his contributions in healthcare sector have worked equally for introduction of IT based initiatives in livestock, agriculture and emergency respondent services. He has been honoured by Chief Minister Punjab, Minister for Health/Secretary Health and Chairman PITB for “Best Performance Award” against various initiatives on multiple occasions. Serves as a domain expert speaker for Management and Professional Development Department (MPDD) for public servants on Healthcare IT.

Represents technological landscape of Government of Punjab at various national and international forums and works actively with international partners to introduce sustainable innovation for the betterment of citizens of Punjab. Has successfully replicated portfolio of Punjab to other provinces and countries.
