A delegation led by Chairman Google Dr. Eric Schmidt met Dr. Umar Saif, Chairman PITB to discuss promotion of cooperation in information technology sector. Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif chaired the meeting and informed the delegation about promotion of information technology in the province, setting up of e-government and IT projects in government departments. Dr. Umar Saif explained various e-government projects, especially relating to use of information technology for the improvement of law and order in Punjab.
