Nigerian Hajj Management System

National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) approached Pakistan’s Hajj Mission in Makkah to study the Hajj operations and termed PITB’s Hajj Management System as a robust, pilgrim friendly ICT platform ensuring visibility and transparency leading to efficient and informed management. PITB’s technological solution empowering the Hajj operations currently has about 15 modules which mainly include:

  • Online Pilgrims Registration
  • Transparent e-balloting
  • Flight scheduling and building/rooms allocation
  • Tracking of trainings, vaccinations, flight adjustments

In response to NAHCON’s request for a replica platform, PITB developed and deployed the listed modules for Hajj operations 2017:

Online Government Pilgrims Registration

For efficient deployment Master Trainers were trained for the hand holding of the officials in the 38 States & 776 towns of Nigeria. During the first year’s deployment all states participated and registered approximately 47,000 pilgrims.

Complaint Management System

Monitoring and Redressal of pilgrims’ complaints in real-time is made possible through the system. In lieu to this, support and services were also extended to operationalize their call center in KSA.

In the coming future complete automation of NAHCON’s processes is underway.
