As per directions of CM Punjab, dispensation of medicines and free home delivery of medicines has commenced in all the Cardiac hospitals of Punjab through Hospital Management Information System (HMIS).
Medicines for the first month are prescribed through HMIS when the patient visits the Cardiac hospital. For the second and third months, medicines will be delivered to the patient's doorstep.
A complete electronic medicine record and tracking system is available in HMIS, starting from patient registration to medicine dispensation.
