PITB, in collaboration with the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), conducted an e-Procurement training session at the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority Office for the staff members of the Auqaf Department, Law Department Punjab, Punjab Urban Land Systems Enhancement and the Board of Revenue Punjab.
MD PPRA Sahibzadi Wasimah Umar discussed the legal and regulatory framework governing the procurement processes in Punjab. PITB JD e-Procurement Muhammad Ashfaq Tiwana briefed the attendees on the scope and functionalities of the system, highlighting its benefits.
e-Procurement system incorporates modern techniques to ensure secure and efficient government procurement. Under this system, vendors from any location can submit bids online, making the procurement process fair, convenient and accessible.
