PITB conducted a two-day training session on the PAITS (Pakistan Animal Identification and Traceability System) organized by Food and Agriculture Organization in Peshawar.
The primary objective of the training was to support the rollout and implementation of the PAITS across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) by enhancing the capacity of Master Trainers from the province. The session focused on system orientation, operational workflows and practical hands-on exercises to ensure the effective adoption and utilization of the platform.
PAITS is a national livestock database developed by PITB in collaboration with Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
