Chairman PITB, Dr. Umar Saif, addressed the launch of the inaugural World Bank Global Report on innovations in Public Sector Performance. World Bank highlighted PITB’s story as a global example of how technology has radically transformed government using citizen feedback and smartphone-based monitoring to eliminate dengue, shut down ghost schools, improve vaccination coverage and minimize corruption in land mutations.
