e-Rozgaar Training Program Transition Ceremony held at Governor House Punjab

PITB and Youth Affairs & Sports Department organized e-Rozgaar Training Program Transition Ceremony today at Punjab Governor House.

The significance of digital literacy and skilled youth for the future progress of the country was highlighted during the ceremony. The attendants of the ceremony were apprised how e-Rozgaar program had empowered our young with digital skills and promoted the culture of entrepreneurship.

Success story of Saifullah from Mianwali, an e-Rozgaar graduate, how he earned PKR 2.5 crores, was shown to the audience. Some graduates were also given the opportunity to share their stories in person. Rimsha Nawaz and Talha Ahsan were invited to the podium and were hugely applauded by a rapt audience.

Secretary Youth Affairs & Sports Department, PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif and Vice-Chancellors from partner universities signed the MoU for the transition of e-Rozgaar Training Program to the self-sustainable mode in the presence of Punjab Governor and Chairman P&D – PITB.

Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman was the chief guest at the ceremony. Chairman P&D – PITB Ali Sarfraz Hussain, Secretary Youth Affairs & Sports Department Asadullah Faiz, Secretary Higher Education Department Najaf Iqbal, Secretaries from government departments, vice-chancellors from e-Rozgaar partner universities across Punjab, Director colleges, representatives from Youth Affairs & Sports Department, Punjab Information Technology Board & e-Rozgaar team also attended the ceremony.
