PITB deployed Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) at Punjab Institute of Mental Health, Lahore to automate the clinical and non-clinical processes across the facility. PITB IT Operations Director Nausheen Fayyaz along with her team visited the hospital and gave a detailed briefing to the management on the various features of HMIS.
The solution has so far been deployed in Outpatient Department (OPD), Emergency, Pharmacy and Radiology. The system will also monitor CCTV cameras to ensure better security across the hospital. The system has so far logged 59,000 OPD Visits and 1,500 Emergency Room visits.
