PITB, in collaboration with Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), organized an e-Procurement training session for the Second Batch Punjab Police Department at Central Police Office Lahore. The training was held as part of the broader initiative being implemented across Punjab.
During the training session, MD Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Waqar Azim gave a detailed presentation on the Procurement Cycle. The training was attended by RPO/DPOS Unit Head and Committee Members of the said department.
PITB e-Procurement Team also delivered a hands-on training to acquaint the attendees with the system and also addressed their queries and concerns.
The e-Procurement System incorporates modern techniques to make government procurement secure and efficient. Under this system, vendors from anywhere can submit their bids online, making the procurement process more accessible and convenient.
