On 4th Feb, 2024 marks a historic moment as honourable Chief Minister Punjab Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi inaugurates the Punjab Police Integrated Command, Control, and Communication (PPIC3) centre in Faisalabad.
PPIC3 - The City is in Safe Hands Now, Through Indigenous Technology and Artificial Intelligence.
Senior officials including IGP Dr. Usman Anwar, Chairman P&D Ifthikhar Ali Sahoo, Lt. (RETD). Sohail Ashraf Secretary C&W, MD PSCA Ahsan Younas, Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf, RPO-Faisalabad Dr. Abid Khan, Commissioner Faisalabad Ms. Silwat Saeed, ADG PITB Syed Qasim Afzal, Chief Information Officer (CIO) Sajjad Ghani, CTO PITB Mr. Adil Iqbal Khan, CPO-Faisalabad Ali Zia and other senior officials were also present.
The esteemed Chief Minister, IGP, and MD PSCA commended the dedicated efforts of the team, acknowledging the achievement of this remarkable milestone with cost efficiency and within a limited timeframe through sustained collaboration.
During the event, the Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Faisal Yousaf provided a detailed overview of the PITB's developed AI software applications - The City Watch System. He emphasized the system's key features through a demonstration showcasing its analytical capabilities.
Commendation was extended to all stakeholders, including Punjab Police, PSCA, PITB, C&W, FWO, and Nexlinx, for their collaborative efforts. Their dedication ensures a safer and more prosperous future for Faisalabad.
