Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated the recently revamped building of Punjab Dental Hospital Lahore. Senior officials including Punjab Minister Health Dr. Javed Akram and Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman were also present.
During the event, PITB HMIS team from IT-Operations wing briefed CM Punjab on the implementation of Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) at Registration and Pharmacy.
In this regard, Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf said that HMIS is an advanced solution that makes administrative workflows easier, reducing chances of human error. It's a centralized system beneficial for both the hospital management and the patients, as every patient's data is easily accessible at any HMIS powered hospital across Punjab.
CM Punjab also appreciated the efforts of all stakeholders, including PITB, for the successful upgradation and digitization of the overall hospital management processes.
