A high-level delegation from Gilgit Baltistan Prisons Department led by Inspector General of Prisons, Gilgit Baltistan, Farid Ahmad visited PITB.
PITB team including Additional Director General Syed Qasim Ifzal, Project Director Asim Iqbal and SPM Iftikhar Ahmed Khan briefed the delegation on Prisons Management Information System (PMIS).
In this regard, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated, "The Prisons Management Information System (PMIS) is pivotal in modernizing and streamlining our prison facilities. We are committed to fostering technological advancements that contribute to the efficiency and transparency of our criminal justice processes."
Prisons Focal Person IT Imtiaz Abbas was also present in the meeting. GB Prisons IG presented a shield to PD Asim Iqbal as a souvenir from Gilgit Baltistan Prisons Department.
