Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the Admin Block and OPD Block at Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital, Gujrat where the PITB developed Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) is deployed for smooth operations. Punjab Health Minister Dr. Javed Akram and Secretary Health Ali Jan Khan along with other senior officials were also present at the event.
During the event, PITB team briefed the Chief Minister on the implementation of Hospital Management Information System at the hospital.
PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said, "HMIS is a centralised system that benefits both hospital management and patients, ensuring easy access to patient data across all HMIS-powered hospitals in Punjab."
"It is an advanced digital solution, simplifying administrative workflows and minimizing the potential for human errors," he added.
