CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore Block C, where he was briefed on the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS). Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department Secretary Ali Jan, PITB Additional Director General Khurram Mushtaq and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
PITB representatives from IT-Operations wing gave a comprehensive overview to the CM Punjab about its implementation and benefits for the hospital management and the patients.
In this regard, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said that HMIS is an advanced mechanism that makes administrative workflows easier, reducing chances of human error. HMIS is a centralized system that benefits both the hospital management and the patients as every patient's data is easily accessible at any HMIS powered hospital across Punjab.
