CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the recently upgraded Emergency Block at the General Hospital Lahore, where he was briefed on the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS).
Minister Health Dr. Javed Akram, PITB Director Nauhseen Fayyaz and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
PITB Director Nauhseen Fayyaz gave a detailed overview to the CM Punjab emphasizing its benefits for the hospital management and the patients.
In this regard, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said that HMIS is a centralized system that aims at making administrative workflows easier, reducing chances of human error. It is an advanced mechanism that benefits both the hospital management and the patients as every patient's data is easily accessible at any HMIS powered hospital across Punjab.
