Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the newly constructed Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) Lab & Diagnostic Center in Lahore. During the event, he was briefed on the Pathology and Radiology Department Machine and Reports integration with PITB developed Hospital Management Information System (HMIS).

In this regard, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said that the integration of Pathology and Radiology Department with HMIS aims at making administrative workflows easier, reducing chances of human error.
HMIS is a centralized system that benefits both the hospital management and the patients as every patient's data is easily accessible at any HMIS powered hospital across Punjab.
