PITB developed Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) has been successfully deployed in multiple government hospitals across Punjab. The initiatives were inaugurated by CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi.
HMIS is now operational in Punjab Institute of Cardiology, General Hospital Lahore, Punjab Dental Hospital Lahore, Nishtar-II Hospital Multan, Mayo Cancer Care Hospital Manawan, Mayo Hospital Lahore, Children Hospital Lahore, Sardar Fateh Muhammad Khan Buzdar Institute of Cardiology Dera Ghazi Khan, Sir Ganga Ram, Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Science Lahore, Children Hospital Multan, Gujranwala Medical College Teaching Hospital, Admin Block & OPD Block at Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital, Gujrat, Allied-I Hospital Faisalabad, Allied-II Hospital Faisalabad, Bahawal Victoria Hospital Bahawalpur and Surgical Tower At Sahiwal Teaching Hospital.
In this regard, Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf said that HMIS is an advanced solution that makes administrative workflows easier, reducing chances of human error. It's a centralized system beneficial for both the hospital management and the patients, as every patient's data is easily accessible at any HMIS powered hospital across Punjab.
