Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the upgraded OPD Block at Children Hospital Lahore, where he was briefed on the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS).
PITB team comprising PITB ADG Khurram Mushtaq and PITB Director Nausheen Fayyaz gave a comprehensive overview to CM Punjab about the implementation of HMIS at the institute.
In this regard, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated that the successful implementation of HMIS represents a significant milestone in healthcare services of the hospital. It involves utilizing electronic medical records to enhance clinical services, benefiting patients, and assisting institute management in well-informed decision-making processes.
HMIS is an advanced mechanism that aims at making administrative workflows easier, reducing chances of human error. It's a centralized system that benefits both the hospital management and the patients as every patient's data is easily accessible at any HMIS powered hospital across Punjab.
