The PITB team recently visited Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) to discuss the implementation of various IT initiatives. They conducted a number of meetings with Additional Chief Secretary, Administrative Secretaries, and other senior officials, including Midhat Zahid (ACS P&D), Amir Latif Awan (Secretary P&D), Khalid Mehmood Mirza (Secretary IT), Rashid Minhas (Special Secretary Health), Dr. Umer (DS Health), Razzaq Nadeem (Secretary Education), and others.
The meetings focused on PITB developed systems including Smart Monitoring Development Projects (SMDP), Hospital Management Information System (HMIS), e-Vaccination, Drug Regime, School Information System (SIS), Online College Admission System(OCAS), Learning Information Management System (LIMS), Training Information Management System (TIMS).
PITB Director Muhammad Haseeb Anwar demonstrated the SMDP to ACS P&D, Secretary P&D, and other senior officials. The participants also discussed plans to facilitate better decision-making processes across all AJK districts. The PITB team received appreciation for their support and deliberated on strategies for the systematic deployment of systems throughout AJK.
