Secretary Archives & Libraries Zahoor Ahmad along with DG Kashif Manzoor recently visited PITB to get acquainted with PITB's ICT interventions with special emphasis of e-Library.
PITB ADG M Kashif Farooq gave a detailed briefing on e-Library initiative and other interventions falling under it, including Cloud Services, Mobile App, Reader's Database, Research Databases etc.
The guests also visited PITB's state-of-the-art Data Center to familiarize themselves with the overall functioning and the Lincoln Corner established at Arfa Software Technology Park (ASTP).
Secretary Archives & Libraries appreciated PITB for helping revive the culture of reading through tech-driven initiatives and showed keen interest in rolling out the initiative at the Quaid-e-Azam Library.
