Government of Punjab, Transport Department in collaboration with PITB has introduced a student card scheme in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan and Bahawalpur to ensure provision of comfortable, quality and economical traveling facilities to the students.
Current Standing
Student card is issued to students of the public sector colleges and universities. There are two categories of fare discount cards, Rs.40 card for six months and Rs.60 card for one year. A flat rate of Rs10 is charged for each trip irrespective of distance travelled throughout the city.

Student bus Card is operational since July 2011 in more than 5 cities of Punjab.
