Oracle had been a highly valuable partner of the Pakistan Government and IT Industry for over 23 years. PITB in collaboration with ORACLE had offered the training certifications. The Oracle University at Arfa Software Technology Park (ASTP) was also an authorized testing center in Punjab for all Oracle certifications’ examination
To compliment the efforts of Government of the Punjab to stimulate research and innovation in the area of ICT, an Innovation Center was established at Arfa Software Technology Park.
Punjab Youth Internship Program, a massive project launched in 2012 by Punjab Information Technology Board under the parasol of Government of the Punjab, has been specifically designed to inculcate creative and professional skills (like communication/ interpersonal skills, computer proficiency and team work) within youth of the province; thus increasing the work force of Punjab by providing better employment opportunities.
